VinFast Opens Largest Indian EV Showroom in Chennai, Plans 35 Outlets by Year-End
Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast Auto has inaugurated its largest showroom in India, located in Chennai's Teynampet area. Spanning 4,700 sq ft, this marks VinFast’s second retail presence in the country, following its debut outlet in Surat, Gujarat. The Chennai showroom will showcase premium electric SUVs, including the VF 6 and VF 7 models.
The company aims to rapidly expand its footprint by opening 35 showrooms across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025. VinFast Asia CEO Pham Sanh Chau highlighted Chennai's legacy, skilled talent pool, and advanced infrastructure as key reasons for choosing the city as their largest Indian dealership hub. The outlet is being operated in partnership with Maansarovar Motors.
